Job Summary
Support the provision of a pest control service by inspecting and monitoring work progress to deliver a fully integrated, customer-focused Pest Management service. Lead investigations into pest problems, resolve issues through practical advice, and respond to emergency situations and urgent requests as instructed. Update records accurately using IT software and deputise for the Team Leader in their absence while liaising with internal and external agencies such as Yorkshire Water. Attend all relevant training courses associated with the post. Starting salary of £26,691 rising to £28,411 per year with service. Minimum qualification of RSPH or BPCA Level 2 with one-year practical experience. Based in Bradford.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of COSHH / Health & Safety legislation
- Experience in the handling of toxic chemicals
- Ability to take on physically demanding activities
- An awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to the role and the measures needed to do the job safely
- Minimum qualification of RSPH or BPCA Level 2
- Minimum one-year practical experience
- A current manual driving licence
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Right to work in the UK
- 3 years worth of references
- A current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
