Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for safely operating a company vehicle on daily routes, inspecting and treating for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests, explaining service expectations to customers while maximizing up-sale opportunities, maintaining customer relationships and professional conduct in the field, keeping chemical and operational records per state requirements, maintaining a clean service vehicle, handling pesticides per regulations, completing pesticide certification and continuing education, and contributing to company growth by establishing rapport with customers. Requires lifting 60 lbs, outdoor work in Georgia conditions, and flexible full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Must complete a background check and a drug screen prior to employment
- Must be able to carry and lift at least 60 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, at least 40 hours a week
- Must be available to work during black out periods (no PTO approved) [week before/after Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day]
