Job Summary
Pest Control Technician in Emerson, GA, responsible for safely operating a company vehicle on daily routes, inspecting and treating outdoor pests (mosquitoes, fleas, ticks), explaining service expectations, maintaining customer relationships, keeping chemical and operational records per state requirements, managing clean and organized service vehicles, handling pesticides safely, completing pesticide certification and continuing education, and performing multi-site duties including lifting up to 60 lbs. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, outdoor work experience, a valid driver’s license, background/drug checks, and the ability to work 40 hours weekly with flexible hours and blackout-period availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Some previous outdoor work experience in various weather conditions
- Previous pest control experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must complete a background check and a drug screen prior to employment
- Must be able to carry and lift at least 60 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, at least 40 hours a week
- Must be available to work during blackout periods (no PTO approved)
