Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for safely operating a company vehicle to complete daily routes, visually inspecting and treating for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests, explaining service expectations to customers, maintaining professional customer relationships, keeping chemical and operational records, maintaining clean service vehicles, handling pesticides per state/federal regulations, completing pesticide certification and continuing education, and contributing to company growth by building rapport with potential customers. Requires ability to walk properties with equipment weighing over 60 lbs, High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, background check and drug screen, lifting at least 60 lbs, and flexibility to work at least 40 hours per week; prior pest control experience preferred. ”,
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Must complete a background check and a drug screen prior to employment
- Must be able to carry and lift at least 60 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, at least 40 hours a week
- Must be available to work during blackout periods (week before/after Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day)
- Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
