Job Summary
Pest Control Technician needed in Austell, GA to operate company vehicle on daily routes, visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests; explain service expectations to customers and maximize up-sale opportunities; maintain professional customer relationships and keep chemical/operational records per state requirements; maintain clean service vehicles and handle pesticides safely per regulations; complete pesticide certification and continuing education; succeed in a physically demanding role including walking properties with equipment weighing over 60 lbs in diverse Georgia weather; contribute to company growth by establishing rapport with potential customers; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have some previous outdoor work experience
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must complete a background check and a drug screen prior to employment
- Must be able to carry and lift at least 60 lbs
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, at least 40 hours a week
- Must be available during blackout periods (no PTO approved)
