Job Summary
Pest Control Technician Trainee in Fargo, ND. Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques. Establish effective working relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice. Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales. Use handheld equipment to document pest issues and sanitation needs. Deliver high-quality service under supervision and obtain required pest control licensing/certification as mandated by state/local law. Training includes travel to Eagan, MN for 1 week. Work a Day Shift (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) with on-call/off-hours availability; driving a company vehicle and undergoing background checks and drug testing as part of the process. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call
- Must be 18 years of age or older
