Job Summary
Pest Control Technician responsible for pest elimination and fumigation in hospitality and commercial settings, supported by a 7-week paid training program with license-assistance. The role involves applying pest-control solutions, operating fumigation processes, interpreting labels and SDS for hazardous chemicals, using PPE and safety protocols, and traveling up to 50% with overnight stays. Training at Ecolab HQ in Saint Paul MN and in-field sessions; a company vehicle is provided. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, willingness to travel/overnight, knowledge of labels and SDS, and ability to obtain required pest certifications, fumigation licenses, Hazmat CDL/Hazmat endorsement, and TWIC. Immigration sponsorship not available. Benefits begin Day 1 and include health insurance, 401k, and other programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver's License
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessary
- Ability to work overnight shifts as needed
- Anticipate 50%+ overnight travel for business during peak season
- Ability to interpret English labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card to access secure facilities
- Ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to obtain required pest certification, fumigation licensing, and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
- Background check
