Job Summary
Pest Control Technician Trainee in Colorado Springs, CO, joining a team focused on safeguarding public health and commercial facilities through science-based pest elimination. You’ll participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention; establish relationships with commercial customers (hospitality/foodservice); document pest issues with handheld equipment; maintain product/service expertise to support service and sales; obtain required pest control licensing; and work a Monday–Friday early shift with potential on-call and overnight obligations. Training location includes a one-week session in Eagan, MN. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to work overnight/weekends, and pest licensing per state/local law.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
- Position requires obtaining pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
- Ecolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offer
- Due to federal contract requirements, this position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer
