Job Summary
Pest Control Technician Trainee in Boston, MA with territory coverage for Cambridge and Quincy, MA. Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, and establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice industries. Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s pest control offerings, document issues with handheld equipment, deliver high-quality service under supervision, and obtain required pest control licensing/certification as mandated by state/local law. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of work or military experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work overnight shifts and be on call. Immigration sponsorship is not available. Training will occur in Eagan, MN for 1 week during the training period. Minimum age 18 and ability to pass background checks and drug testing. 100% on-the-job training complemented by real-world field work and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing pursuant to state/local law
- Background check on all candidates who receive a job offer
- Drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer
