Job Summary
Travel to appointments and meet with customers to assess pest problems in and around their homes and workplaces, executing specialized treatment plans. Seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future issues. Safely move about customer locations, ascend and descend stairs, and position yourself to conduct service under furniture and in tight spaces while operating hand tools and equipment. Work outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions and wear personal protective equipment as needed. This role offers a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with some weekends available. Required Qualifications
- The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of way areas, and position yourself to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces
- The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- The ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
- The flexibility to assist in various service departments within the branch as needed
- Basic math skills to measure and mix product applications accurately
- The ability to operate a variety of hand tools and equipment safely
- The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes an OSHA compliant respirator in some cases
- Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, etc.
- Held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Good oral and written communication
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.)
- Availability to work some weekends
- High school degree or equivalent
