Pest Control Technician responsible for traveling to scheduled appointments, assessing pest concerns, and applying professional treatment plans. Will educate customers and recommend preventive solutions, delivering service with honesty, empathy, and consistency. Role emphasizes building long-term relationships with customers, and offers paid training, a take-home company vehicle for field positions, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; must be able to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively with customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces
- Ability to move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Availability to work some weekends
