Job Summary
As a Pest Control Technician for American Pest, you will travel to scheduled appointments to assess pest concerns and apply professional treatment plans, educate customers, and recommend preventive solutions while delivering service with honesty, empathy, and consistency. The role requires dependability, attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, safe movement around customer locations, and flexible availability including some weekends. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and training opportunities offered by the company.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces
- Ability to move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfort using computers, smartphones, and related technology
- Availability to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and some weekends
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
