Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entry points, then assess customer needs to sell pest management solutions and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, develop proposals for resolving existing issues, and propose service enhancements. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals to close sales, and provide expert knowledge to new service installations. Safely operate a motor vehicle, travel up to 100% within the assigned territory, and work in confined spaces while wearing appropriate PPE. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Ability to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to keep balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
- Comfort dealing with different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, etc.)
- Ability to work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics, etc.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to regularly work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to resolve conflicts and disputes in a non-violent and non-disruptive manner
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle on public streets
- Ability to handle and have access to regulated chemicals
- Ability to receive company equipment to perform work
- Ability to make financial quotes and commitments on behalf of the company
- Ability to access company and customer's records including personal identifiable information and financial records
- Ability to work within customer's residences, property, and places of business often unsupervised
- Ability to access vulnerable populations
- Ability to perform work with access to company and customer's records
- Ability to use, handle, and have access to regulated chemicals
- Ability to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Ability to agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
- Ability to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws related to the employment of qualified individuals with disabilities

Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
