Job Summary
Conduct inventory of the collection and prepare loss reports; perform technical treatment of books; analyze the collection, propose acquisition lists, and obtain title price quotes. Complete catalog cards, provide support for computerized research, and assist students in preparing bibliographies according to ABNT norms. Draft reports and serve the teaching committee; manage book transfers for redistribution and verify received items. Lead technical guided tours for inaugural and scheduled classes and coordinate administrative activities for the library, including collection maintenance, personnel, consumables, and physical structure upkeep.
