Job Summary
Senior Personnel Security Specialist responsible for matrixed security management for Missile Defense Agency programs, delivering Acquisition Security, Information Security, and Program Protection guidance and governance. Primary duties include classification management and SCG support, development and implementation of INFOSEC/OPSEC and program protection procedures, review of DD-254 forms, data entry into DISS, and clear communication of security activities to stakeholders. Requires 8+ years of missile defense or equivalent DoD program experience, Active Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. The role emphasizes risk-based security planning, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance across security disciplines, with strong stakeholder coordination and presentation skills; located in Colorado Springs, CO; full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years missile defense-related or other complex DoD program/project experience
- Active Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with DISS or similar system
- BS/BA in Security/CI or related field preferred
