Job Summary
Initiate background investigations, manage receipt of security documents from contractor applicants, and conduct fingerprinting procedures. Verify appropriate investigation levels, ensure required documents are completed and included in individual files, and prepare, submit, and update computer tracking systems for case material. Apply incident management, problem-solving, and task performance skills while participating in special projects and performing additional duties as needed. Maintain a US government security clearance and utilize Microsoft Office applications including Access and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields e.g., technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel and operational security
- Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline
- Experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies
- Highly organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is preferable
- Familiarity with ISMS, eQIP, CVS, and/or DISS
