Job Summary
Personnel Security Manager responsible for delivering integrated personnel security arrangements across EDF and Sizewell C nuclear businesses in the UK. Lead policy development for counter-insider risk, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and tailored solutions aligned to civil nuclear regulatory requirements. Act as focal point for personnel security with regulators and national agencies; guide strategy and priorities for the branch; oversee vetting delivery (e.g., Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearances); manage budgets/resources; build trusted relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders; lead a team of security specialists across the lifecycle of projects from design to decommissioning. Requires DV clearance eligibility and British residency for the last five years; hybrid working with potential remote restrictions due to security classification.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge of UK vetting standards and requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing counter-insider programmes and mitigations
- Senior stakeholder engagement with government departments, regulators and national agencies
- Proven track record within security profession
- Risk management understanding of UK nuclear legislation and nuclear site licence conditions
- Experience providing security advice and conducting personnel security vulnerability assessments using DV-related methodologies
- British residency for the last five years (DV clearance eligibility)
