Job Summary
HR Systems Specialist for the Juneau District Office to manage and optimize HR, finance, and personnel software systems, with a focus on automation within the employee portal, data integrity, reporting and analytics, and compliance with district policies, union agreements, and Alaska budgeting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with accounting and personnel software systems
- Experience in a school district or municipal government setting strongly preferred
- Experience working with public employee unions preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS, ERP, accounting, and finance software systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data management tools
- Experience with process automation and system optimization
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
