Job Summary
Provide daily personal care for a 4-year-old girl with a rare diagnosis, including mobility assistance, hygiene, activation, mucus mobilization, and breathing support. Plan and facilitate activities such as outings and swimming. Work flexible shifts covering days, evenings, and overnight hours when breathing support requires supervision. Maintain a calm and trustworthy presence while living and working in a rural environment with two cats. Hold a driver's license and reliable vehicle access. Prioritize candidates with experience supporting children with disabilities or epilepsy. Complete background checks via Fortcheck and provide a police clearance certificate for work with children.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children with disabilities
- Experience with Epilepsy
- Calm and trustworthy personality
- Ability to work both day, evening, and night shifts
- Ability to work nights when airway support is needed
- Driving license
- Access to a car
- No allergy to cats
- Ability to perform background check via Fortcheck
- Ability to obtain and provide a police record extract for work with children with disabilities
