Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of the personal training staff, serving as the key business partner to the Fitness Manager on all management matters. Drive the team to meet monthly PT targets while leading high-value orientation sessions to maximize new client acquisition and penetration. Own the end-to-end trainer lifecycle, from sourcing and hiring to onboarding, training, development, and performance management. Proactively identify business growth opportunities and oversee the PT experience to drive revenue and retention. Lead ongoing coaching through regular individual and team meetings to minimize turnover and increase trainer tenure. This full-time role requires a valid Personal Training Certification and CPR certification within 30 days. Candidates must be comfortable working in a gym setting, lifting over 40 lbs, and operating company computer systems. Required Qualifications
- At least one year as an EōS personal trainer for internal candidates
- At least one year of verifiable managerial experience for external candidates
- L2 or Master Coach level as an EōS personal trainer
- Must successfully pass background check
- Valid Personal Training Certification
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
- Ability to access and operate company computer systems including preparing documents, entering data into computer systems, reading reports from a computer database or email system
