Job Summary
The Personal Training Manager is responsible for maximizing member participation in paid Personal Training Services, achieving new client acquisition and retention goals. Duties include managing the front-end selling process, coaching personal trainers, overseeing the client journey, ensuring quality training programs, and handling schedules based on KPIs. A strong knowledge of personal training techniques, sales skills, and the ability to lead and motivate teams are essential, along with a high school diploma, CPR certification, and preferred certifications from reputable organizations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current CPR
- Knowledge of Personal Training techniques and program design
- Sales, communication, and rapport building skills
- Knowledge and command of Crunch programs like VFP, dotFit, ABC/Datatrak, Crunch U, Styku, etc.
- Experience in coaching/motivating groups
- Strong leadership, interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to generate, maintain, & demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic & positive attitude
- Strong member service focus
- Professional response to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior management experience in retail/hospitality industry leading 3-10 employees
- Consultative sales experience
