Personal Training Manager

Job Summary
PT Manager oversees recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring of personal trainers, ensures program growth and adherence to policies, schedules onboarding for new staff, trains staff on POS systems and client consultations, coaches through prospecting and sales strategies, maintains KPI-focused performance, promotes client retention, and supports new club openings. Requires certified personal trainer qualifications, CPR/AED, pregnancy/exercise knowledge, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; responsibilities include staff coaching, training schedule design, client consultations, onboarding, evaluating trainer performance, and collaborating with the Personal Training Director on sales and program development. Location noted as Ridgeland, MS facility with standard gym operations and occasional travel to new CLUB openings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- 2- or 4-yr degree in an exercise science or related field is preferred
- Must hold a current fitness certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, NFPT (NCCA Certified)
- CPR/AED certified
- Experience training private clients
- Ability to pass a Strength and Conditioning Assessment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive, motivating interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of physiology and exercise technique
- Ability to train all fitness levels
- Experience with social media presence
