Job Summary
Conduct fitness consultations and assessments to design individualized exercise programs based on member goals and abilities. Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions while educating clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits. Build and maintain a strong client base through relationship-building and outreach, tracking progress and adjusting programs as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment while upholding "No Judgments" standards and collaborating with club staff to create an exceptional member experience. Requires current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification and CPR/AED certification. Availability includes 20–35 hours per week with weekend shifts. Commission-based earning potential up to $35 per hour with ongoing professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent), or the ability to obtain certification within an approved timeframe
- Current CPR/AED Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed
- Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire individuals of all fitness levels
- Availability to work a minimum of 20–35 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift
- Ability to perform physical job duties, including demonstrating exercises and lifting up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous personal training or fitness industry experience
- Degree or coursework in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or a related field
- Experience with fitness consultations, sales, and client retention
