Job Summary
Equinox Personal Trainer role in Newport Beach involves building and maintaining an active client base, managing schedules, marketing and selling personal training programs to members/clients, conducting fitness assessments and delivering in-person and virtual customized training programs, ensuring a safe and organized fitness floor, and pursuing ongoing professional development through continuing education. Compensation includes time spent in internal education, competitive salary/benefits, and multiple incentive bonuses, with an earning potential of over $100K. Requires current nationally recognized PT certification or a bachelor's degree, CPR/AED, ability to work in-person on weekdays/weekends, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with basic technology. Pay transparency lists $40.50-$70 per session and $16.90/hour for non-session work, with additional incentive opportunities; must have legal right to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's degree in the field
- Certification reimbursement opportunity for non-PT certified applicants
- Eligible for opportunities to start at a higher Tier level based on experience and education
- Current CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for noncertified applicants)
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
