Job Summary
Personal Trainer role at Life Time involves developing comprehensive client programs to achieve goals, conducting fitness consultations, providing on-floor assistance, promoting and selling training services, and maintaining current certifications. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year PT experience, must be a Certified Personal Trainer with CPR/AED, knowledge of fitness, program design, nutrition, and ability to guide clients through safe workouts and evaluations; includes client assessments, education, customer service excellence, and ongoing credential advancement. Compensation includes commissions (10-60%) with a weekly wage minimum and extensive team benefits for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Certified Personal Trainer
- CPR and AED certified
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
- Ability to perform aerobic activity for duration of class and lift up to 50 pounds
- Current credentials and continuing education to advance throughout levels program
