Job Summary
Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention while monitoring and instructing members on safe equipment use. Conduct fitness consultations including pre-participation screenings, medical history reviews, and lifestyle assessments to recommend training plans. Provide fitness floor assistance, perform equipment operations and cleaning, and fulfill service desk duties. Promote personal training services and complete administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan. Maintain current certifications and credentials to advance through the program levels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
