Job Summary
Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention while monitoring and instructing members on safe equipment use. Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screenings, medical history reviews, and lifestyle questionnaires to assess and recommend training plans. Provide fitness floor assistance, ensure safety, and motivate members through education and complimentary services. Fulfill member service requirements such as fitness assessments, equipment operations, service desk duties, and equipment cleaning. Promote and sell personal training programs and services, documenting all aspects of client programming. Complete all administrative requirements and remain current on certifications, industry trends, and continuing education to advance through the levels program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
