Job Summary
Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention while monitoring and instructing members on safe equipment use. Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screenings, medical history reviews, and lifestyle questionnaires to assess and recommend training plans. Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, educate members, and motivate participation, while fulfilling service desk duties and equipment cleaning requirements. Promote and sell personal training programs, complete administrative client plan documentation, and remain current on certifications and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Certified personal Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class
- Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
