Job Summary
Conduct high-energy group fitness classes for 10+ members, delivering predesigned workouts that modify exercises to accommodate various skill levels. Create an inclusive, safe environment while energizing clients and handling member concerns. Build attendance and retain members through engaging lobby interactions and community events, while assisting in the sales process. Prepare thoroughly before shifts and attend monthly or quarterly staff meetings and regional educational trainings. Maintain current OTF-approved fitness certification and CPR/AED certification. Earn $30-$50 per class in a full-time or part-time role within the OTF 904 Region, supporting a studio known for setting industry standards in program design and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Positive attitude, effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
- Must hold current fitness certification from an OTF approved company such as ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM, AFFA
- CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to safely lift and move 40lbs
- Excellent customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
