Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one training sessions delivering individualized programs based on client goals and fitness levels. Perform assessments including body composition and cardiovascular endurance to track progress, then build complete weekly routines targeting strength, endurance, and functional fitness. Provide expert coaching on form and safety while educating clients on nutrition basics to support long-term success. Monitor client progress, adjust programming, and maintain a clean, safe training environment. Motivate clients through consistent support and contribute to club events and workshops. Requires NASM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent certification plus CPR/AED; flexible availability for evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly compensation with commission and base pay.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED certification
- Proven training experience (preferably in a gym or fitness club)
- Strong knowledge of exercise science and program design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt programs to all fitness levels and limitations
- Comfortable with sales conversations and guiding clients into programs that fit their goals
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
