Job Summary
Conduct safe, appropriate, one-on-one personal training sessions and lead group fitness classes while delivering exceptional customer service to members, clients, and guests. Assist with additional club responsibilities as needed and maintain required hours of availability. Work independently with minimal supervision, approaching anyone in the gym to offer tips or demonstrate exercises. Requires a nationally recognized PT or Group Exercise Certificate and current CPR certification. Sales experience is preferred. Part-time to full-time availability in Fairlawn, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Conducting safe, appropriate, and effective one-on-one personal training sessions
- Conducting group fitness classes
- Providing exceptional customer service to gym members, clients, and guests
- Assisting with additional club responsibilities as needed
- Maintaining hours of availability provided upon being hired
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Nationally recognized PT or Group Exercise Certificate (ex. ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM, etc.), or in the process of obtaining
- Current CPR certification
- Be comfortable with approaching ANYONE in the gym to offer tips or to demonstrate exercises
Desired Qualifications
- Having a passion for health, fitness, and helping individuals meet their goals
- Possessing strong verbal communication skills
- Sales experience preferred
