Job Summary
As a Personal Support Worker, you’ll join the Long Term Care team in Kingston, providing resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, hygiene, grooming) and delivering resident care and services. You’ll assist with mobility and use of assistive devices, help residents maintain comfort and well-being, encourage participation in programs, and, with appropriate training, administer specific medications under supervision. You’ll build relationships with residents and their families, support cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and contribute to a compassionate, values-driven care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
Additional Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
