Job Summary
Conduct Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), ensure client safety during community and home activities, and provide personal care including toileting and hygiene. Assist with client transfers, organize meals, prepare transportation, offer emotional support, and handle light housekeeping. Maintain client autonomy while managing flexible, client-dependent scheduling with full autonomy over availability. Complete required certifications including First Aid, CPR Level C, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI). Hold a valid G class driver's license and possess a smartphone with data access. Work independently to support individuals with trauma, complex diagnoses, or personal development needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
- PSW Certificate or College education in a related field
- Drivers License G class with access to a vehicle
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
- Reliable
- Organized
- Ability to work independently
