Job Summary
Right at Home Canada is seeking experienced caregivers (CCAs) to provide 1:1 in-home client care in Bridgewater and the South Shore area of Nova Scotia. Responsibilities include companionship and social stimulation, initiating and promoting physical activity, meal planning and preparation, assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments or activities. Ideal candidates communicate well with clients of all types, uphold professional standards, and can complete a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector and hold Standard First Aid and CPR certification. Must be eligible to work in Canada and reside locally to the serviced area. COVID-19 precautions are noted, with PPE provided and vaccination status requested where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR
- Successful completion of Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Live locally to Bridgewater/South Shore, Nova Scotia
