Job Summary
Assist individuals with daily living tasks including personal care, hygiene, toileting, bathing, feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Maintain complete and confidential information for each supported client while providing social and emotional support to seniors and their families. Accompany clients with walking, exercise, and mobility assistance. Create activity plans and complete shifts reports. Maintain a respectful workplace environment. Shifts range from 2 to 8 hours in the morning and evening, with flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
- Nursing student status
- International Educated Nurse status
- Health Care Aid status
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
