Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, household tasks, medication assistance, and meal preparation for special diets. Promote safety by demonstrating proper body mechanics and transfer techniques while providing cognitive, social, and emotional support. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks using proper food preparation and hygiene practices as determined by the care plan. This role serves patients in Aylmer, ON, and surrounding areas through home and community care settings. Candidates must hold a valid PSW certificate or equivalent qualification, possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and complete vulnerable sector screening. Flexible hours are available, including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
- A valid driver's license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
