Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Job Summary
Assist patients with daily living activities including personal care, household tasks, and medication assistance while promoting a safe environment through proper body mechanics and transfer techniques. Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients and prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to care plans. Work independently and as part of a team to encourage patient independence in home and community settings. Availability required for non-traditional hours including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current Personal Support Worker certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program

- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
