Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal care, household tasks, respite care, and medication assistance. Promote a safe environment through proper body mechanics and safe transfer techniques while providing cognitive, social, and emotional support. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks adhering to specific care plans and dietary requirements. This role supports patient independence in home and community care settings within the Bancroft area. Candidates must hold a valid Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent, possess a G or G2 driver's license with reliable vehicle access, and complete vulnerable sector screening. Competitive hourly wages range from $20.96 to $23.20, with paid mileage and a signing bonus available. Flexible hours and hands-on mentoring are provided.
Required Qualifications

- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
- A valid driver's license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
- Current vulnerable sector check screening
- A clear background check
