Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including personal care, household tasks, respite care, and medication assistance while promoting safety through proper body mechanics and transfer techniques. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks adhering to care plans, and provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients in home and community settings. This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current Personal Support Worker certification, with availability for non-traditional hours. Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (G or G2 Classification)
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
- Current vulnerable sector check screening
- A clear background check
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
