Job Summary
Part-time, day-shift Personal Support Worker (PSW) providing direct personal care to residents under RN/RPN supervision in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include bathing, skin care, toileting, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, vitals checks, assisting with admissions and discharges, meal services, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting residents’ emotional and social needs. Requires completion of a PSW program compliant with Ontario requirements, and legal entitlement to work in Canada; High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Experience with the elderly in long-term care is an asset. Located in Meaford, Ontario; in-person work.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed a Personal Support Worker program that meets requirements of Fixing Long Term Care Act: Reg. 246/22 or meet the criteria in 52(1). (Ontario Educated).
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have High School Diploma (or equivalent)
