Personal Support Worker- Newcastle & Surrounding Suburbs (Evening Shifts)

Job Summary
Provide personalized, high-intensity support within clients' homes, including personal care, hygiene, transfers, hoist use, mobility assistance, bladder and bowel care, meal preparation, household tasks, and community access using the client's vehicle. Complete daily progress notes while maintaining flexibility for short split shifts. Work evening shifts in Newcastle, Mayfield East, or Wickham, with specific hours varying by location. All successful applicants complete a paid 3-day induction in Lidcombe. This role offers a pathway from casual to permanent part-time employment with ongoing clinical training and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Prior work reference
- Excellent English communication skills
- A caring, professional and dependable approach
- Flexibility to work short split shifts
- Consent to a pre-employment health assessment
- Consent to reference checks
- Consent to an NDIS Worker Screening Check
