Job Summary
Conduct high-intensity personal care in client homes across Newcastle, Mayfield East, Wickham, and Arcadia Vale, assisting with mobility transfers, showering, toileting, meal preparation, and domestic tasks. Drive clients to community appointments and maintain accurate daily progress notes while reporting incidents. Complete a three-day induction program with a registered nurse and undergo required worker screening checks. This role offers part-time or permanent conversion opportunities with dedicated rostering and on-call nurse support for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Required Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Prior work reference
- Car and driver licence
- Excellent English communication skills
- Passion and empathy
- Open to work short split shifts
- Casual with the intention to convert to Permanent
- Consent to a pre-employment health assessment
- Consent to reference checks
- Consent to an NDIS Worker Screening Check
