Job Summary
Conduct high-intensity personal care in client homes, including mobility transfers, hygiene maintenance, toileting, meal preparation, and domestic assistance. Drive clients to appointments and community visits while maintaining accurate daily progress notes and reporting incidents. Provide bladder and bowel care, including catheter bag management and stoma bag care. This role offers Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts with opportunities for part-time to permanent conversion. In-person training with a Registered Nurse is provided during a 3-day induction program. Spanish language ability is required for client support.
Required Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Prior work reference
- Car and driver licence
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to communicate in Spanish when required
- Passion and empathy
- Ability to work short split shifts
- Available to attend in-person interview
- Casual status with intention to convert to Permanent
