Job Summary
Support residents with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per individual plans of care. Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support while encouraging participation in resident programs. Aid communication by assisting with sensory aids and ensure constant access to mobility devices. Administer specific medication under supervision of a registered health professional. Build relationships with residents and families to enrich their daily health and well-being within a fast-paced long-term care environment.
Required Qualifications
- You have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
