Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting. Support mobility and transfers, help with household duties like light housekeeping and laundry, and prepare meals or run errands as outlined in the care plan. Provide companionship, observe client conditions, and report safety concerns to your supervisor. Complete required documentation accurately, follow infection control guidelines, and maintain client confidentiality. Treat all clients with dignity and respect while maintaining dependable attendance. No experience required; training and support provided. Flexible scheduling available for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, OR willingness to enroll in a PSS training program within 60 days of hire
- CNA (active or inactive) accepted
- Must not be listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings
- Ability to work independently
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities
- Strong communication skills
- Access to a working cell phone for scheduling and documentation
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
