Job Summary
Provide in-home non-medical personal care and support to adults and seniors, including personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting), mobility and transfers, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and companionship. Follow each client's plan of care, complete required documentation accurately and on time, and adhere to HIPAA and safety guidelines. Maintain client confidentiality and respond to emergencies, while delivering compassionate, independent, one-on-one support in home settings with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and ongoing supervision and training. Opportunities for certification advancement (CRMA, CNA, DSP, CNA-M) and mileage reimbursement where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, OR willingness to enroll in a PSS training program within 60 days of hire
- CNA (active or inactive) accepted
- No experience required - training and support provided
