Job Summary
Provide in-home, non-medical personal care to adults and seniors, assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), mobility and transfers, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and routine errands as outlined in each client’s plan. Work independently in client homes in Brooksville, ME, with ongoing supervision, maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA/MaineTouch), accurately complete required documentation, and follow infection control and safety guidelines. Flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time shifts; opportunities for certification/pathway advancement (CRMA, CNA, DSP, CNA-M). Mileage reimbursement available when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, OR willingness to enroll in a PSS training program within 60 days of hire
- CNA (active or inactive) accepted
- No experience required - training and support provided
- Must not be listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings
- Ability to work independently
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities
- Strong communication skills
- Access to a working cell phone for scheduling and documentation
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
