Job Summary
Provide in-home non-medical personal care to adults and seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and companionship. Work independently in clients' homes with ongoing supervision; follow each client’s plan of care; maintain HIPAA confidentiality; complete documentation on time; participate in required training; flexible shifts available (full-time or part-time) in Belfast, ME. Qualifications include at least 17 years old, High School Diploma or GED preferred, active Maine PSS certification or willingness to enroll in training within 60 days, CNA accepted, no disqualifying registry findings, ability to work independently, good communication, reliable transportation preferred, and access to a cell phone for scheduling and documentation. Training and support are provided, with opportunities for professional growth (CRMA, CNA, DSP, CNA-M, Nursing pathways).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, OR willingness to enroll in a PSS training program within 60 days of hire
- CNA (active or inactive) accepted
- No experience required - training and support provided
- Must not be listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings
- Ability to work independently
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities
- Strong communication skills
- Access to a working cell phone for scheduling and documentation
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
