Job Summary
Part-time Personal Support Specialist available nights and weekends in Kennebec County (Waterville, ME). Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks; performing basic health care tasks such as checking vital signs and administering medications; light housekeeping including meal preparation; arranging or providing transportation for clients; collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family; observing and reporting on client conditions; staying up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, access to reliable transportation, a Current PSS Certificate or willingness to obtain one, ability to pass criminal background checks (APS and CPS) and provide references, proficiency with using a phone/computer for orientation, clock-ins, emails, and trainings, exceptional personal hygiene, respectful and compassionate bedside manner, knowledge of basic housekeeping, and the ability to work independently or with direction. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Access to reliable transportation

- Must have exceptional personal hygiene
