Personal Support Specialist

Provide essential non-medical care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene. Support mobility by helping with walking, transfers, and fall prevention, while performing light housekeeping such as laundry and cleaning. Plan and prepare healthy meals according to dietary needs, escort clients to medical appointments, and facilitate social engagement. Document any changes in physical or mental health and communicate updates to the supervisor. This role maintains client independence, dignity, and quality of life within the comfort of their own residences.
